    Hi all,

is there any recomended points ratio between the attacker and the defender?
I mean for example something like the attacker's point equal to the defender points + 20%.

    Thanks

Francesco, are you playing the attacker a lot of the time?

Yes, maybe I'm not so good at playing NaW but sometime it's a little bit frustrating for the attacker.
In some battle reports I saw that the attacker had more points than the defender so I wandered if it was correct to have the same number of points ...

Francesco, you may have to look at the forces you are choosing. What nation do you usually play? And what nation do you usually fight? I play Austrians and against French and as the defender I am not always at an advantage.

Thanks Chas ... in the end what I understand is that both the attacker and the defender have the same points ... correct?

Yes correct but you can agree to play however you like. Some scenarios may be suitable for the attacker to have more points. Give it a go and see how it comes out.

  7. We play with a 20% reduction to the defender... It seems ballance things out a bit

I don't think there needs to be a points differential. Is it harder to attack successfuylly - yes.  But it can be done.  In the course of running multiple tournaments and playing A LOT of games, I see all kinds of players and how effectively they use the lists they're playing.  I would encourage players to get clear about their own personal style of play (aggressive, counter-puncher, etc.) and then pick an army that suits that style.  If you play an Austrian list like an aggressive player should employ a French list, you're going to get hammered.
